The Connect Trade Union is the second largest Union involved in Irish Manufacturing. We believe that apprentices are paramount to the future and our Union and welcome their involvement within the Union at all levels and that they should be fully aware of all entitlements due to them as apprentices. Rates of Pay for apprentices can vary depending on what apprenticeship you are doing and what industry. The Pocket Books in our Publications gives an outline of some of the conditions and rates of pay for the Mechanical, Electrical and Construction Industries. Apprentices accrue holiday entitlements during their off the job phases.
